Even though all of these circuits are city circuits, that doesn’t mean they are similar. On the contrary, they all leave a very different impression and Singapore’s Marina Bay Street Circuit is no exception. Marina Bay stands out because it is the only night race in the F-1 Championship.
But race times aren’t the only thing that sets the circuit apart from the rest. Marina Bay is also the only track with a floating grandstand, where cars actually pass underneath spectators. The uneven finish line is also a distinctive feature of the track, which causes cars to leave behind sparks reminiscent of the 1980s, and it remains one of the most demanding tracks for drivers in terms of navigation.
