Click on Photo to Register ~ The Skills and Techniques for Advanced Riding Motorcycle School was created to help you become a more proficient, more confident rider. Whether you’re a street rider who wants to improve your skills to gain confidence and become a safer rider, or a track day junkie and racer looking for answers on how to go faster on the racetrack, the STAR Motorcycle School has a motorcycle training program designed specifically for you.
The STAR Motorcycle National Guard Schools are offered to currently enlisted National Guardsmen. Working in small class sizes we offer National Guard students a chance to learn and enhance their skill set in a group oriented setting. Each student receives hands on training from instructors throughout the days session.
STAR Motorcycle School – National Guard Training meets AR 385-10, Chap 11 Motorcycle Safety Advanced as well as Sustainment Training requirements for the next three (3) years.
Note: STAR National Guard Training dates are not MSF Certified.

Benny Solis Interview

There hasn’t seemed to be much of an off-season for Benny Solis. After the last AMA Pro Racing round at NOLA he was back on the bike at Chuckwalla Valley Raceway where he set a new lap record. Solis has recently spent some time on his R6 and an R1 along with attending a benefit for Rocco Horvath. Next Moto Champion called him to catch up.

NMC: How did the benefit for Rocco Horvath go?

Solis: There were a ton of people there to support Rocco, it was a day to ride around and interact with fans. We (the AMA Pro’s) weren’t going for fast time but were more interested in letting people follow us and giving them tips on how to go faster.

NMC: A couple weekends before the benefit you were racing with CVMA, how did it go?

Solis: I was racing the 600 that my dad built me, it was fun, we got in some good testing and I was able to run some fast laps and win some races.

NMC: And you also set a new lap record, you’re going faster than you ever have there, what do you contribute to these improvements?

Solis: I’ve got 2 new sponsors that have been helping me a lot, So-Cal Track Days and Micky Grana have been allowing me to get some seat time which has really helped. So-Cal Track Days put me in touch with Jason Pridmore, I’ve already taken 2 of his schools and Jason has been a huge help, I’ve picked up more time than I thought I could. Jason is a big part of why I was able to get the track record there. Jason and Mark at the Star School are really good at what they do and I’m lucky to work with them.
